Good morning, Winners! The Giants have officially done it. They've crafted the funniest quarterback room in NFL history.
New York signing Russell Wilson was legitimately shocking. Not in a "Wow. They're going to be a PROBLEM!" way, but in a "Wow. Can they please do Hard Knocks again?" sort of way. No one knows what this team is doing at this point. I'm starting to believe they're intentionally keeping it that way.
The memes per game we're getting from the 2025 Giants will be off the charts. Just think of the possibilities, folks.
In one corner, you've got Russell "Mr. Unlimited" Wilson. In the other corner, you've got Jameis "I eat Ws for breakfast, lunch and dinner" Winston trying to pray away the pick-sixes for the betterment of the team. At least we can say he's legitimately a team player. Then, somehow, in another corner, you've got Tommy DeVito's ... agent who somehow convinced the Giants to sign his client again. I'm not saying it's blackmail at this point but I'm not not saying it either. It's hard to put anything past the mob.
CIARA IS HAPPY: She had five words for Wilson's move to New York
The fun part is that somehow, Shedeur Sanders is still reportedly in play for New York despite the team just signing 15 other quarterbacks to its roster. So there's legitimately a chance that Deion Sanders' son might be filling the fourth corner here.
Again, guys. I'm just asking you to think about the possibilities. Think about the memes. Think about the funny stories that we could get from this. Giants fans, I'm so sorry this is happening to you. This is also tremendous content that I cannot wait to consume.
The best part of all this has nothing to do with the Giants. Really, the positive is that we're that much closer to Aaron Rodgers being forced into retirement. It's Pittsburgh or nothing, buddy. Make your choice.
Six goals to go
We're inching closer and closer, guys. Alex Ovechkin scored the 889th goal of his career on Monday when he posted the game-tying goal to force overtime against Winnipeg on Monday night.
The Capitals lost to the Jets in OT, 3-2, which is not what you want to see. But, hey, man. We're all counting Ovi goals at this point. And the guy is only six goals away from being the NHL's all-time goal leader, which is a record no one thought would be broken. So I'll take it.
The Caps have 11 games left on the schedule. That should be plenty of time for the Great 8 to get the job done. We're almost home, folks.
All love lost
It was only a few years ago that Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro seemed inseparable. If we could cast a buddy cop movie between two NBA players, those dudes had to be the pick. The Baby Goat and the Butler.
Now? They're not even speaking.
Herro was asked if he'd spoken to Butler about their time together before or after the Warriors-Heat game on Tuesday. The man said no five times.
You hate to see it. It's only natural, though. Butler burned that Miami bridge, and he probably can't cross it again. It's just sad to see, considering how close these two — and that Heat team — all seemed to be.
